As a working mother, I depend on BART everyday to commute to work and take my daughter to school. I understand the frustrations of working people, seniors, and people with disabilities who rely on BART, but who are stuck with a system that isn't working despite constant promises to improve.
I ran for the BART Board of Directors because I wanted to have a seat at the table where decisions are made that affect my daily life and the lives of so many people in the Bay Area. I am honored and grateful to have been elected by voters in BART District 7 to serve. As your BART Director, I am here to listen to your concerns and advocate for all riders and communities affected by BART.
I need you to stand up with me for transportation that serves riders and working families. We must work hard to address BART's many challenges. The people of the Bay Area must hold myself and my colleagues on the BART Board of Directors accountable to our values. Together, we will shape a BART system for a more vibrant and equitable Bay Area for generations to come.
